1. Overview
This Usage Policy is part of the Saylia Terms of Serviceand applies to everything you do on Saylia — persona chats, research tools, book podcasts, story games, debates, personas you create, and content you share. It exists to keep Saylia safe, lawful, and worth using. If something here would make you hesitate, don't do it.
2. Age Requirements
Saylia is for users 13 and older; users under 18 need parental consent, and paid subscriptions require you to be 18 or older. Do not help anyone under 13 access the Service, and do not share an account with a child under 13.
3. Prohibited Uses
Do not use Saylia to:
- Break the law or harm people. No illegal activity, fraud, scams, phishing, malware, or seeking instructions for weapons, violence, or other serious harm.
- Sexualize minors — ever. No sexual content involving anyone under 18, including fictional, "aged-up," or AI-generated depictions. This rule has no exceptions, and no fictional framing gets around it. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities as required by law.
- Create non-consensual sexual content. No sexual content depicting real people without their consent, including deepfakes, and no content depicting sexual assault or coercion.
- Harass, threaten, or spread hate. No bullying, stalking, threats, incitement to violence, or hate directed at people based on protected characteristics.
- Deceive. No presenting AI output as authentic statements from a real person, impersonating others to mislead, coordinated disinformation, or fake reviews.
- Violate privacy. No doxxing, tracking or surveilling individuals, or harvesting personal data about others.
- Attack the Service. No probing or breaching security, bypassing rate limits or usage caps, automated scraping or bulk extraction of content or AI output, or reselling access.
4. AI Personas and Real People
Saylia's personas — including those based on real or historical figures — are AI simulations, and their responses are not statements from the real person, estate, employer, publisher, or any affiliated group. Do not use a persona to defame, harass, or fabricate quotes attributed to a real person, and do not republish persona output as something a real person actually said.
5. Research Tools
People Finder, Price Searcher, and similar research personas retrieve publicly available web data for personal research. Use them lawfully. Do not use them to make decisions about a person's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or similar benefits (Saylia is not a consumer reporting agency), and do not use them to stalk, monitor, or build profiles of individuals.
6. Personas You Create and Share
You are responsible for personas you create or remix and for content you share. In addition to everything above, created personas must not:
- Impersonate a private individual, or impersonate any real person or organization in a way meant to deceive.
- Portray minors — real or fictional — in any romantic, sexual, or suggestive context.
- Be designed to produce content this policy prohibits, or to mislead users about what the persona does.
We may review, restrict, or remove created personas and shared content at our discretion. You can report a persona or conversation from within the app or by emailing support@saylia.ai.
7. No Professional Advice
Saylia is for conversation, learning, and entertainment. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and persona themes are not qualifications. Do not rely on it for decisions that need a qualified professional.
8. Mental Health and Crisis Resources
Saylia personas are not therapists and are not a crisis service, and conversations are not monitored in real time. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to real people who can help:

9. Enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may lead to warnings, rate limiting, content or persona removal, suspension, or account termination. Where the law requires it, we may preserve and disclose relevant information to law enforcement. To report a violation, use the in-app report option or email support@saylia.ai.
10. Changes
