Peter Pan

J. M. Barrie · 1911 · 6 essays

Six essays on Barrie’s 1911 novel and the playable version of it: the line the internet quotes with the verb reversed, the sentence about the Lost Boys that Barrie never finishes, the language about Tiger Lily’s people that no edition has ever taken out, the family whose real story sits underneath the book, how the screen versions compare, and who’s who in Neverland when you go by the text. Barrie’s own prose is free; the game is over here.
